ChatGPT is an advanced conversational AI model developed by OpenAI, based on the GPT-4 architecture, designed to understand and generate human-like text, enabling users to engage in natural language conversations, seek information, and receive assistance across various topics. I use the latest paid versions of ChatGPT4o (including the new "Canvas" mode) for most of my AI writting and other efforts. See this discussion about the new "Canvas" mode in Chapter 3 of this book.

Canva is an online graphic design platform that allows users to create a wide variety of visual content easily. It is widely used by individuals, businesses, and organizations for tasks ranging from social media graphics to presentations, posters, and more.

Claude is an advanced artificial intelligence created by Anthropic, capable of engaging in natural language conversations, analyzing complex information, and assisting with a wide variety of tasks including writing, coding, math, and creative projects.

DALL-E 3 allows you to translate your ideas into 
exceptionally accurate images. I sometimes use DALL-E3 to generate images but prefer Midjourney.

Descript is the AI-powered, fully featured, end-to-end video editor that you already know how to use.

D-ID is a company specializing in AI-driven creative solutions, particularly in the realm of synthetic media and digital avatars.

ElevenLabs allows you to create the most realistic speech with its AI audio platform. Get pioneering research in text to speech, ai voice generator and more. This is my "go-to" text to audio service. I uploaded my voice to the service and use ElevenLabs to convert my books, posts and articles into audios for podcast and YouTube. Related, the new ElevenLabs text-to-speech app Reader is now available globally. I use it on my phone to read written text, an imported URL, and uploaded file and even a scanned file via my phone. It's great!

Forecast Bot The Center for AI Safety has unveiled. It's the FiveThirtyNine, an AI forecast bot, designed to make predictions with a level of precision that even seasoned human forecasters can’t match. It starts by taking a question, then dives deep into research, pulling out the most relevant facts. Next, it assesses those facts, crafts well-reasoned arguments, and scores how strong each one is. From there, it makes its estimate, reasons through the possibilities, and even takes a moment to reflect before giving its final, polished prediction.

FutureTools is a comprehensive platform that curates and organizes the best AI tools, enabling users to discover and access AI technologies tailored to their specific needs across various categories, such as productivity, marketing, and research.

Google AI Studio allows for AI to to analyze long text, code, audio and video. Make sure to select model “Gemini 1.5 Pro when using.

Google Gemini AI, developed by Google DeepMind, is a multimodal, large language model known for its ability to generate creative text formats, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.

Google NotebookLM lets you summarize and do a deep dive on your documents, slides, charts and other resources. You can even click "generate" and create an audio conversation about the resources you provided. To learn more, see Mike Allton's overview about NotebookLM here.

Lately is a social media AI content platform that leverages cutting-edge AI and neuroscience to streamline and optimize content creation, scheduling, and analytics, transforming social media strategies into highly engaging and impactful campaigns.

Meta is a state-of-the-art, highly advanced, and versatile artificial intelligence assistant that utilizes a massive language model to process and generate human-like text based on user input, providing accurate and helpful information on a wide range of topics, from general knowledge and news to entertainment and education.

Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that uses advanced language models to provide users with information, answer questions, engage in conversation, and assist with tasks such as creative writing, code generation, translation, and more, all while maintaining a positive, polite, empathetic, and engaging persona.

Midjourney is an AI-powered tool that generates high-quality, artistic images from text prompts, allowing users to create stunning visuals through simple textual descriptions. This is my primary image generator.

Perplexity is a cutting-edge platform that merges search engine functionality with generative AI to deliver accurate, sourced answers to queries, offering features like webpage summarization and personalized results across various content platforms. One thing I like about Perplexity is that it's accurate and shows me what resources it relied upon. I also like the "suggested follow-up prompts.

Pi is a technology platform designed to provide users with personalized AI-driven assistance. It focuses on delivering intelligent, context-aware support to help users manage their tasks, organize information, and make informed decisions. This is my favorite personalized voice AI that I use daily with my phone. I will say that I'm starting to use the voice options on ChatGPT4o more and more.

Presentation AI allows you to generate stunning slides in minutes.

Prompting Examples and Ideas In addition to sharing my favorite prompt approachs, I also included several dozen prompts at the end of Chapter 3 that I know will spark new ideas to help you with your prompts.

Recall summarizes online content (articles, podcasts, videos, PDFs and more), connects it in a knowledge graph and resurfaces it on a schedule tailored to your learning curve, helping you summarize, digest and remember information. Add the Chrome browser extension for instant access.

Runway is a platform designed to provide easy-to-use, powerful tools for creators and developers to leverage AI in their projects. It offers a variety of AI models and tools that can be used for tasks such as image and video generation, text generation, and more.

Sora is OpenAI's text to video platform. It may not be available at the time you're reading this but pay attention to this powerful technology.
