Once upon a time, in the colorful town of Brightwood, there lived a curious bunny named Ella. Ella had the softest fur, the fluffiest tail, and the most sparkling eyes you’d ever seen. But there was one thing she just couldn’t figure out—how to use her eyes to talk without saying a word.

One sunny morning, wise old Owlbert called a meeting in the meadow. “Ella,” he said, “did you know your eyes have magic? A glance can show someone you care, make them feel seen, and even help your words stick like honey on toast!”

Ella’s ears perked up. “Magic? Really? How does it work?”

Owlbert chuckled. “It’s all about balance. Too much staring, and it’s like a laser beam—too strong! Too little, and it’s like a disappearing act—too weak. But just the right amount? That’s the sweet spot, like the perfect carrot cake.”

Ella was excited to try. Her first practice was with her friend Sammy the squirrel. She looked into his eyes while he chattered about acorns. But oh no! She stared so hard that Sammy squeaked, “Ella, are you trying to hypnotize me?”

Embarrassed, Ella tried again. This time, she looked into his eyes, then softly shifted her gaze to his bushy tail and back. Sammy smiled. “That’s better! I feel like you’re really listening.”

With every critter she met, Ella practiced a little more. She looked, smiled, and even added a quick glance to the center of their foreheads when she wasn’t sure where to look. Soon, Ella’s friends started saying, “Talking to Ella feels warm and special!”

Owlbert smiled proudly. “See, Ella? Eye contact isn’t about staring—it’s about seeing. And when you make someone feel seen, it’s the best kind of magic.”

From that day on, Ella’s magic glance helped her make new friends, solve squirrel squabbles, and even win the Brightwood Bunny Talent Show with her heartfelt storytelling.

And so, Ella learned that with a little practice, a simple look can say the most wonderful things.

She understood that eye contact- looking someone in the eyes, is like magic. When used with care, it can show kindness, build trust, and make others feel special.
